Modern parking in Fiss
Modern transport has become firmly established in the Tyrolean family and holiday region of Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis: not only does the world’s smallest and highest-altitude underground railway operate here, but electric transport has also long since become the norm.
The new car park of the Fisser Bergbahnen meets the highest standards of comfort and sustainability: 40 modern charging stations (across 520 parking spaces) are available to mountain enthusiasts on four levels. Here, they can fully charge their electric vehicles whilst enjoying sporting adventures. A high-performance photovoltaic system has also been installed on the car park roof.
In Fiss, da emobil not only supplied the hardware but also ensured the commissioning of the stations, load management and transparent billing.
Mag. Michael Schöpf, Managing Director of Fisser Bergbahnen GmbH, emphasises: “For us, e-mobility is a key component of sustainable tourism development. With the construction of the new multi-storey car park at the Waldbahn, we have made a conscious investment in modern infrastructure. Even in the first phase of development, 40 electric charging points are available to our guests. However, this step is just the beginning: once fully operational, there will be a total of 160 charging points available. As a mountain railway company, we bear responsibility for the natural and cultural landscape that forms the basis of our destination experience. Sustainable mobility begins with our guests’ journey here – and this is precisely where we are sending a strong signal for the future.”
