da emobil joins the Klimabündnis
A strong signal for a sustainable future of mobility
Innsbruck, 24 March, 2026 – da emobil is a new partner in the Klimabündnis, thereby underlining its commitment to making electric mobility accessible to all and integrating it seamlessly into everyday life. The company develops bespoke charging solutions for businesses, is building a high-performance public charging network in collaboration with innovative partners, and offers a convenient, user-friendly experience with its charging card – an important step towards a liveable, climate-friendly future.
“With da emobil, the Klimabündnis gains a strong partner that demonstrates how practical climate protection in the mobility sector can be. For the mobility transition in Tyrol, we need companies that offer innovative solutions and make it easier for people to switch to e-mobility – and this is exactly where da emobil comes in,” emphasises René Zumtobel, Klimaschutzlandesrat and Klimabündnis-Obmann.
da emobil also sees joining the initiative as a logical step: “As a company whose mission is to advance electric mobility, we have a responsibility towards sustainability – both externally and internally. We not only want to facilitate a comprehensive, modern charging network, but also set a good example in our own operations,” explains da emobil managing director Alois Wach.

Sustainable measures and many successes to date
da emobil is already implementing numerous measures to reduce its environmental footprint – from extensive green roofing and 100 % LED lighting, through a wide range of mobility options for its 35 employees, to sustainable procurement and active awareness-raising. Social responsibility is also put into practice through inclusion, accessibility and social projects.
By joining the Klimabündnis, the company is committing to ambitious measures for the coming years. Between 2026 and 2034, plans include installing a photovoltaic system, further optimising energy and resource management, establishing a comprehensive waste separation system, and expanding mobility incentives such as subsidies for public transport. The company will also make its procurement processes more sustainable, for example by switching entirely to recycled paper.
More than 230 Tyrolean businesses in the network
da emobil is part of a strong network: in addition to the more than 1,100 Klimabündnis municipalities, around 1,900 businesses across Austria have committed to the Klimabündnis initiative, over 230 of which are in Tyrol.
Think globally, act locally.
At the Klimabündnis, the motto “Think globally, act locally” is taken literally. A global partnership connects local stakeholders – such as local authorities, businesses and schools – with organisations in the Amazon region of Brazil. The shared aim of this solidarity-based partnership is to preserve the rainforest and the rights of indigenous peoples. At the same time, the Klimabündnis promotes a climate-friendly lifestyle in Tyrol.
