Electric mobility meets mountain adventure

The Steinplatte ski and hiking area, situated on the border between Tyrol, Salzburg and Bavaria, is implementing a modern charging solution with the support of da emobil, thereby enabling guests to travel there sustainably.

The Steinplatte Waidring mountain railways have invested in a bespoke charging solution in time for the 2025/26 winter season. da emobil not only supplied the hardware for 20 charging stations but also handled the installation and commissioning, load management and transparent billing. This has resulted in a user-friendly solution.

“With the 20 charging points in the car park of the Steinplatte gondola lift in Waidring, we are investing in a future-proof charging infrastructure. The Steinplatte offers a wide range of mountain adventures: in summer, guests can enjoy hiking, climbing and mountain biking, as well as having fun at the Triassic Park theme park, or take in the magnificent panoramic views from the viewing platform and the new Panorama Muschel. In winter, there’s fun on the slopes for all ability levels, whilst Triassic Park (including childcare) promises fun for the whole family even in the snow.
