The VinziBus in action to help those in need

The ‘St. Vinzenz’ Vincentian Association uses the VinziBus to provide food and drink to those in need in the Innsbruck area on a voluntary basis, 365 days a year. Around 22,000 hot meals are served each year to people in need, with the VinziBus operating on electric power. The initiative relies on donations.

Once again this year, the dedicated team of volunteers used ‘Day of Kindness’ on 12 June to raise awareness of the charity’s important work: at the Markthallengarage on the banks of the Inn, around 200 portions of Vienna sausages and 15 kg of goulash were handed out free of charge to some 120 guests. The team’s spirits remained high despite the rainy, chilly weather.
