Charging made easy

Charging via charging card (RFID)

• To authenticate, hold the card against the card reader on the charging station. 
• Plug the charging cable into the station. 
• Connect the charging cable to your vehicle. 
• Your vehicle will now start charging. Please check the LED display on the charging station for the charging status. 
• To end the charging process, hold the charging card up to the card reader again, unlock your vehicle, and then disconnect the charging cable from the vehicle and the station. The amount due will be recorded by the charging card, and you will receive an invoice from your charging card provider. 

Charging with the da emobil app

• Log in to the app using your login details. 
• Open the app and select the charging station and corresponding charging point where you are located. Alternatively, scan the QR code to be automatically redirected to the relevant charging point. Tap “Okay” to start the charging process. 
• Plug the charging cable into the station. 
• Connect the charging cable to your vehicle. 
• Your vehicle is now charging. Please check the LED display on the charging station for the charging status. 
• To end the charging process, tap “Stop charging” in the app, then “Okay.” Unlock your vehicle and disconnect the charging cable first from the vehicle and then from the station. 

Ad hoc charging via QR code

• Scan the QR code using your smartphone's QR code reader or camera. You will then be automatically redirected to the relevant website. 
• If necessary, select the relevant charging point, click on “Charge now” and follow the steps to log in or register. Important! Do not close the page during the entire charging process! 
• Select a payment method or save your payment details. 
• Click on “Start” to begin charging. 
• Plug the charging cable into the station. 
• Connect the charging cable to your vehicle. Your vehicle will now start charging. Please check the charging status displayed on the LED screen of the charging station. 
• To end the charging process, click on “Stop charging” and confirm with “Okay.” Unlock your vehicle, then disconnect the charging cable first from the vehicle and then from the station. 

Charging via payment terminal

All DC charging stations are equipped with a payment terminal, either integrated directly into the charger or installed externally at the charging point. 
The process described below also applies to AC charging stations with a payment terminal. The only difference is that, after starting the charging process, you will need to connect your own charging cable to the station.

• Touch the screen of the payment terminal to start the process. 
• Select the correct charging point on the terminal display. 
• Follow the instructions on the terminal and either hold your debit/credit card or smartphone (for Google/Apple/Samsung Pay) up to the terminal or insert it. 
• A preauthorised amount will be charged at the start of your session (shown on the terminal). Once charging is complete, the final amount will be settled automatically. 
• To end the charging process, first unlock your vehicle and then disconnect the charging cable from the vehicle. 

Charging with Charging Wallet

• Open the da emobil charging network on your smartphone or the Apple Maps on your iPhone. Select the charging station, then the correct charging point. 
• Start the charging process directly via the website by clicking on “Charge.”
• Payment can be made via Apple Pay, Google Pay or a credit/debit card. 
• Now connect your charging cable to your vehicle, then plug it into the station. 
• To end the charging process, press “End charging” on the website, unlock your vehicle, and then disconnect the charging cable from the vehicle and the station.
